I have had so much fun with the kids this Summer. We have dove Roatan waters, boated the snake river, ririe and island park, kayaked, hiked, floated a mattress down the Falls, climbed trees, gone on bike rides, traveled to California, etc. etc. Life is fulfilling....I will miss them when our schedule returns to school activities on Monday...on to the next adventure!

Photography is my passion. Whether it be in the woods or in the ocean, I feel more complete with camera in hand, recording beauty - that I may perhaps share it with someone.

I took this photo of the yahoos...a typical day in our lives!! We pride ourselves in being spontaneous and adventurous. If we're not geocaching, we're kayaking or exploring...spending the night at Ririe...floating mattresses down the Snake River...saran wrapping mattresses to car roofs...sledding off rooftops...working in orphanages...helping the elderly...eating dessert before dinner... Though some may think my parenting skills are dangerous and untraditional, I can honestly say I love my kids and love exploring life with them, whether it be getting in a mud fight or filling a pew in church...I love it!
I'm sure it's easy to tell that I am proud of my children. They teach me so much about life and being a better individual. Being a single mother of 7 children certainly has its challenges, but with people like these to share life with is an honor and a blessing. I am thrilled to spend eternity with them...
Kjira is the oldest in the Willis tribe. She will be 18 in november. She is one of my best friends and a blast and a half to be with. She has an awesome sense of humor and is very creative. She can make anything out of duct tape and has owned her own prom dress rental business since she was 14 - she has over 200 dresses that she rents out. Kjira loves cooking, camping, scuba, kayaking, traveling, doodeling, piano etc. She is a wonderful oldest sister to her siblings.
Hunter just turned 15 and is an awesome individual. He can make me laugh like nobody else can. He is a loving, creative, talented person, who writes beautifully and plays the saxaphone like a pro. He enjoys scuba, kayaking, camping, hiking, wake boarding, music, writing etc. He is so compassionate and loving. Hunter is going to be a giant..he's 6'1" and wears a size 14 shoe!
Jonathan is my sweet boy that I adoted from Ecuador. He turned 12 in March and is a hard worker. He loves to be involved in projects and is amazing at mechanical things. He loves to swim, boat, kayak, camp, hike, make things, etc. Jonathan tries hard to be good and has great dimples.
Hannah will be 12 in December, and has always been known as the family peacemaker. She is also one of the family clowns, and could quite easily become a comedian one day. She is a talented piano player and has composed some of her own music. She loves to kayak, boat, hike, camp, cook, sew etc. Hannah is also an extremely compassionate individual and loves to serve others.
Mycah reminds me more of myself than any of the children. She is a fireball who is very strong willed and spontaneous and cannot pass up a dare. Shis loves animals, and is very compassionate. She is artistic and plays the piano and is learning the saxaphone. She used to play the violin. She loves to camp, 4-wheel, kayak, backpack, bike ride, sew, cook, scrapbook etc. Mycah will be 10 in September.

Aidan is a peaceful, content person, who loves life and finds humor easily. He has an amazing imagination and an open mind - the combination allowing him to think freely. Some days he rushes into the house and slams the door behind him, panting and warning everyone that chicken are taking over the world, and other days he quietly read books in his room. Aidan oves to kayak, boat, 4 wheel, ride his bike, color, build things etc. He is so loving, and more often than not, a peacemaker.

Emma

Emma...the youngest of the Willis tribe. August 9th is her birthday and she proudly shares it with her older brother (by 5 minutes), Aidan. Emma is so much like her mother, in her mischief and love for adventure. She loves exploring and is a good little kayaker, mountain climber, bicycle rider, scuber diver...she has a collection of 100 bobble heads, who spend much time exploring with her. Emma is a very strong individual, both physically and emotionally, and will without doubt, be an influential leader one day.
nature is my connection to God...it is there, in the middle of an aspen forest, at the base of a glacier, or on a coral reef, that I feel His presence completely
